We got to see your sweet face today. Your little mouth was moving on the screen like you were ready to nurse! These visits don't usually make me emotional, but I found myself getting teary eyed. The past eight months have been a bit painful and uncomfortable at times, but seeing your face put my body and mind at ease. I can't believe you will be in our arms in just a few weeks. Look how far we've come little guy!

We are getting close to finishing your room! Your daddy has been working so hard to make sure it is perfect. Just a few more finishing details and you will have a special room of your own. Big brother tested out your crib for you...I think it's good to go!

Your big brother is still (blissfully) unaware that a baby will be joining our family soon. I'm sure it will be quite the transition for him, but I know he will come to love and protect you in the days ahead. My heart swells when I think of the two of you together...playing, fighting, growing up and having a life-long friend in each other. Every night we pray for our "boys" and it feels so surreal to say that. Our boys. Thank you, sweet baby, for making me a mommy again. It is truly the greatest gift.

Love,
Mommy

A few weeks ago we did a family photo session to capture my ever-growing belly and this sweet family I get to call mine. Let me tell you...taking photos with a toddler is a challenge! I had a feeling it would be crazy, but phew! By the time it was over we were all ready for a nap. Here comes the picture overload!

Thanks for looking! Up next, some thoughts on this pregnancy and welcoming another baby. Merry Christmas, ya'll!
