I love St. Patrick's Day. It's the anniversary of the day I met Jeff and it brings back some really great memories. I never imagined I would meet my future husband in a smoky, underground bar filled with green beer and shuffleboard tables....but, that's our story. I wish I had a photo from that night, but an oldie from one of our first dates will have to do:

Happy Anniversary my love! One thing is for certain: the days spent being his wife have been my happiest. We have accomplished so much together over the last three years and we are beyond blessed. Okay, I promise to stop now. I could just gush all day over this man.....

And with that, I move on to the next thing to celebrate....my 36th week of pregnancy! While I am feeling very large and uncomfortable, my excitement to meet our boy continues to build. We are so close to the finish line!

Dear Jude,
We are so close to your arrival and I am over the moon! Your room is all set up and we are now just patiently waiting. I have washed all your tiny little clothes and can't wait to dress you in them! Lately you have been hiccuping all the time and pushing your little feet into my ribs. It's not always comfortable, but there is nothing in the world like feeling your little feet inside my belly. We have taken all the classes, toured the hospital, had your baby shower, set up your nursery and now, all we need is you. We cannot wait to see you sweet boy!

  1. Hey Kimberly, I've followed along your pregnancy with other fellow Merkelites and have been so excited for you and Jeff (Hello from Germany Jeff!!). I know from your posts that you have to eat GF. I have three close friends that have Celiacs or their kids do. I am always forwarding new recipes to them or trying them out when we have get togethers and this week we tried the "GF Bread That Doesn't Suck" and the name says it all. Here is where the recipe came from: http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.onegoodthingbyjillee.com%2F2013%2F03%2Ffinally-gluten-free-bread-that-doesnt-suck.html&h=zAQHSpJYL
